public class JWindowTransparent
extends javax.swing.JWindow

This is a attempt to create a transparent JWindow. Since Java toplevel components cannot be transparent, transparancy will be mimicked by taking a screenshot and use that as the background. The problem is that Java has no idea when it needs to refresh the screenshot. All relevant events are listened to, hoping to recapture in time and a timer is used to update at certain intervals. But this is all patching, since the problem is really only solvable using OS calls (as http://www.l2fprod.com/ does). A second problem is that recapturing will make the window flash. By capturing the screen AFTER the transparent window is displayed and calculating a hash, unnessecary flashing is prevented. Ah well, having something is better than nothing at all. TODO: does the thread stop once the window is released?
